I had intended to pick up golf. What is the economic and the best way to start? Is there some sort of a new group of adult learners? I live in Manhattan, so that viccinity recommendations would be great. Also I heard that Long Island has some facilities for amateur golf. Is that true?
Many people engage themselves in range, but in the long deadline will not be too beneficial and will become very expensive. The reason is because they develop bad habits that are very difficult to adjust in the future. Want to start the right way, that is to take lessons. Definitely, there are group classes that are as effective as one-on-one classes, and much cheaper. You need to make sure the golf coach is a certified professional because you want someone who knows what they are doing to teach. Practices in the range of classes to allow your muscles to remember what you've learned. In terms of equipment, I suggest you find a decent used set of golf or a good start, and they do not want to hit something that is bad or difficult to use. I bought a lot of decent clubs cheaper used Kijiji or Craigslist. If not, any retail store selling golf game is pretty good start. I do not live in Manhattan, so I can not recommend anything. But I know that most Golf and Country Club will give lessons. When I went to a nearby Golf and Country Club. One lesson was approximately $ 70/hr.
