Why are politicians trying to figure out what to do with bailout money?
I think the best people suited for this job to figure out what to do with the money are small business owners, executives from multiple companies, fire fighters, police officers, doctors and nurses, teachers and so on. I mean, these politicians are just randomly sending millions of dollars to these big companies. They really have no idea what these companies are planning to do with the money. I think the best people to figure out what to do with the money are people who actually knows what the company needs and how much it will cost.
What’s even more bizarre that mayors from all across the nation were gathered in Washington DC on what they will do with the bailout money. Some reply that they will build country clubs, golf courses, and parks. God knows what the mayors from those farmland states (like Kentucky, Tennessee, etc) said. What about building or improving infrastructure such as schools, police, fire, and health care?
Politics as usual!!
The rich will gain the most while the infrastructure and REAL jobs sit on the back-burners.
