Golf Course Management Degree
Online degrees in Turf Management?
Hello everyone,
My husband has been working doing landscape and grounds keeping for golf courses most of his life and now he is looking to get a degree in turf management in order to become a superintendent. Due to work schedules, he needs an online program. We have found only one in our search and it is through Penn State. They are a bit expensive though. I am also enrolled in college right now and will be for at least the next 2 years. Paying for us both to be in school will be difficult but definately worth it. We just want to see if there are any other schools so maybe we can find a lower tuition or maybe a school that offers more in terms of loans and such since financial aid will unfortunately only be covering a small portion of his tuition.
Do any of you know of any other accredited online programs offering degrees in turf management?

Hi, I work at Minot State University – Bottineau as the Distance Education Coordinator. We are an actual campus that also offers online programs. We have programs in Landscape Technology, Greenhouse Technology and Basic Grounds Workers Skills that are offered completely online.
We are located in North Dakota, so our tuition is lower than most. We charge $182.50 per credit hour. We are accredited so financial aid is available for those who qualify. Here is a link to our website:
