What is your favorite golf course in Orange County?

I have lived in OC for nearly a year and I’m trying to play as many of the courses around here as I can. What are the nicest OC courses in your opinion (public/semiprivate)?

Who wouldn’t say its their favorite course, “Coyote Hills” is reminiscent of what OC could be in its most pristine stage; it has certainly matured… Black Gold in Yorba Linda is a strong second. However if tell me you didn’t lose any balls on either course and I’ll call you a fibber… Oak Creek is way toooo flat and narrow, almost similar to Los Alamitos (now closed down)… Tustin Ranch and Strawberry Farms are both quality courses… I double dare you to play both of the new courses on Pelican… But for the best bang for the buck? it would have to be Birch Hills, at $50 bucks ~ you can’t go wrong (all the courses listed prior are over $125).

If you have the means, I highly recommend it…

(*OC Municipal? Is that the one next to David L.Baker in Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Westminster area? ~ David L.Baker has night golf up to 10 pm, kinda cool but you’ll need those weak glow balls)
