Cheapest golf membership in Dallas Tx?

I live in Rockwall and I am looking for a membership to a golf course but I am not at a point in my game that I require a fancy course I am just looking for the cheapest one I can get on and start playing a lot more.

It’s been several years but my parents were members at The Shores when I was a kid. Decent track and I don’t think it was very expensive. The last I’d heard it had gone semi-private so it may be even less expensive now. With the ecomomy the way it is right now, now is a good time to get a deal at most clubs. They are losing membership and need to do everything they can to get members. I just joined Woodhaven Country Club in Ft Worth and got a great deal. As much as I play, it more then pays for itself.
