Buythecase.net 3rd Annual Golf Classic
DATELINE: MARSHFIELD, PEMBROKE AND PLYMOUTH, MA… BuyTheCase.net, an online retailer based in Pembroke, is sponsoring a charity golf event to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield, which is a 1,000 member strong non-profit organization that provides the area’s youth with enrichment and recreation programs in a safe environment.
BuyTheCase.net’s 3rd Annual Golf Classic for the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Crosswinds Golf Course, 424 Long Pond Road, Plymouth. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
The format is four-man best ball (eight players per hole). Registration begins at 12 p.m., and a practice green and the driving range will be open. Play begins at 1 p.m.
Any registered player who hits a Hole-in-One will win a car from McLaughlin Chevrolet.
A cocktail hour and silent auction will be held at 5 p.m. and dinner will be held at 6 p.m., followed by special prizes and a raffle.
The cost to participate in the 3rd Annual Golf Classic is $600 per foursome; $300 for two players or $150 for an individual spot. Golf cart, 18 holes of Championship golf, use of the driving range, boxed lunch and full dinner is included in the cost.
“For the third year in a row, Jack Griffin of BuyTheCase.Net has stepped up to sponsor a Golf Classic, which has turned out to be one of the largest fundraising events for the Boys and Girls Club. Volunteers for the event are needed to help with check-in and Par-3 holes as well as with the raffle and auction at the end of the night.
