Should I play college golf?

I am 14 years old at the moment, I live in Australia and have an AGU handicap of 8 at Windaroo Lakes which is one of the hardest courses in South East Queensland. I was just wondering if when I get older if I should move to the US and apply to a college.
I have no clue about anything to do with American colleges so whats the low down on college golf (ie average scores by others, how many years for college, what age do you have to be and how hard it is to get into a college).

most in college golf is not as good as you are now. Try to follow youth competitions within Australia to start with.

Have you heard of “Won Joon Lee” from Concord in Sydney? He sounds like the type of golfer you should try to use as an example.
