DATELINE: HOLBROOK AND SHARON, MA… Crescent Ridge Dairy, of Sharon, Massachusetts recently announced Marcos Lins as manager of Crescent Ridge Dairy Bar and Mini Putt-Putt at its Holbrook location at 176 South Franklin Street (Route 37). Crescent Ridge Dairy Bar and Mini Putt-Putt officially began its second year in Holbrook in April, with the nine-hole miniature golf course opening in May.
Lins began with Crescent Ridge Dairy in 2007, working at company headquarters in Sharon, Massachusetts prior to being named manager at the Holbrook location. A former cook, the native Brazilian and current Stoughton resident will be the manager on site through the spring, summer and fall seasons.
“We’re thrilled to name Marcos manager of our Holbrook Dairy Bar and Mini Putt-Putt,” said Mark Parrish, president and third generation of the Parrish family to run Crescent Ridge Dairy. “His strong work ethic and energy make him a great addition to our Holbrook operation.”
Crescent Ridge Dairy’s ice cream received international acclaim last year when The National Geographic named it one of the world’s “10 Best” in “The 10 Best of Everything: An Ultimate Guide for Travelers.” Crescent Ridge sells all 31 of its world-renowned flavors of ice cream and five flavors of frozen yogurt at its Holbrook “Dairy Bar,” which is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Those hours will be extended in the summer to 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at a date to be determined.
The Holbrook Dairy Bar offers both drive through and walk-in service and will also be selling frappes, ice cream cakes, sundaes and pies as well as Crescent Ridge Dairy’s whole, 1%, 2% and non-fat milk, eggs, juice and steamed hot dogs.
