I’m going to Vancouver for the summer.. im just wondering what a typical summer job would pay?

For example, construction, restaurant, golf courses

Minimum wage is $8/hr, and as someone else referenced, the stupid Liberals brought in the “training wage” of $6/hr…but that is mostly for teenagers, and seeing as there is such a HUGE shortage of workers in BC I don’t think that any business would dare offer $6/hr.

Construction workers can make a killing right now.. I”ve heard in the high $20′s/hr…but that would depend on your skills, and the company that you’re working for…

Restaurants will probably pay about $9/hr as you are likely to make at least another $3/hr with tips…

No idea what you would earn at a golf course.
