Public Golf Courses Southern California
Why is tennis not as popular as golf?
I live in sunny Southern California. Last Saturday I was on a public tennis court from 9 to 11 AM. During that time, we were the only ones playing – only 1 out of 8 courts were being used! On my drive back home, I saw that there was a huge backup at the starting tee on a local public golf course — the place was packed! Tennis is my game – I cannot imagine what golf has over tennis. What am I missing here?
I do not agree with you.Your view may be in the context of one or two countries, but generally tennis is more popular in the all countries compared to golf. The attendance to see a grand slam match will prove it.secondly the rules of tennis are simple and the result of the match comes in short time ,unlike golf where the competition stretches for days .
