Best family reunion location in the Eastern United States?
I am trying to find the best location to host a family reunion of 30 people including adults and children. Location must be in the Eastern part of the United States (northeast or southeast). Time is the week of 4th of July. The biggest decision criteria is that the location must not be too hot since some family members cannot stand summer heat due to MS. Location needs to have plenty of recreational activities including golf. Need lots of things to do for both children and adults. Have tried Hilton Head but its too hot. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Canobie Lake Park is there… a very nice amusement park with lots of rides, picnic areas, a lake etc. Very close to the highways and an hour from Boston.

They have stroller and wheelchair rentals too. Lots of free parking. etc.
We used to go there when we were kids. It’s a nice place. 4th of July they will probably have nice fireworks over the lake.
