Sao Paulo – the heart of Brazil industrial, commercial and business – is also the main reference for Brazilian golf. Sao Paulo has more golf courses and players the rest of Brazil as a whole.

So if you're planning a trip or business travel to Sao Paulo, consider using one of golf greens. Any hotel fame will give the answers that may be required for access to local green.

But … just because Sao Paulo is prominent in the landscape of golf in Brazil arenÂ't does not mean that other opportunities to play. The number of Brazilian golf greens is increasing rapidly. You can even play golf in the heart of the Amazon basin.

If you are interested in understanding the greatness of the vast forest (not forgetting the golf), think of going to Manaus, a city unexpectedly born of the industrial dreams, but increasingly, a major travel hub to the surrounding rainforest. Once there, plus local cruises on the river and views to ecological parks, exploring the forest walks, visits to the caboclos 'A' settlements, there is also an opportunity to play golf.

Another major travel attraction in Brazil where there is a golf course is Iguassu, southern half, near the border with Argentina and Paraguay. Iguazu has largest water world, a natural phenomenon beyond Niagara Falls (Â "poor NiagaraÂ" said Eleanor Roosevelt, when facing the place). The local Bourbon Iguassu Golf Resort hotel has excellent greens.

Rio de Janeiro also has several leaves not far above its southern beaches, and only a few minutes from Copacabana and Ipanema.

Also in the region of Rio de Janeiro, you can find golf courses in Buzios-the Saint Tropez of Brazil, A-, and in the opposite direction, in Angra dos Reis, a luxury resort, with majestic green, connected to a top local hotel: Hotel do Frade Golf & Resort. These places are both about Houra unit in Rio de Janeiro.

Much farther south, are the leaves of Florianopolis. Florianópolis is known as a top international location for water sports (swimming, diving, surfing and above all), but also has excellent greens and golf clubs.

And That's not all, of course. Because it is so big (a country with an area similar to the U.S.) the number of Brazilian golf greens is growing steadily. The most recent include a series of courses in Bahia.

Bahia is a state in northeastern Brazil. A state with friendly people and musical insurmountable with an array of exotic traditions and a long coast of thousands of miles, hiding hundreds of beach paradises still largely unknown outside of Brazil

Bahia encompasses cities like Salvador, Costa do Sauipe, or Praia do Forte, with all the modern golf courses have been built to satisfy demand and recent real estate boom (Bahia is also a paradise for real estate bargains …).
