Comments (0) What irons would you recommend for an intermediate golf player? Titleist AP1′s or AP2′s?
I am an intermediate player with about an 18 handicap and am looking to buy new Titleist irons. Thanks
AP1 would be the best choice based on the limited info you are providing (18 handicap)
I would look to see if you can find a place to test both before making any purchase. AP1 is a game improvement iron (wider sole, more offset, easier to get the ball in the air) verses the AP2 which is a player’s iron (small head, more ability to shape shots)
